I am currently working through the Sandbach Adult Educaton Programme at Sandbach Boys School. Up and coming classes are:
Intermediate Crochet (5 classes for £40) - next round of classes to start on 24th April 2012
Learn the basics and 'next steps' of crochet through project based classes, over 5 weeks, including basic stitches, increasing, decreasing, working in a spiral, granny squares, flowers, buttonholes, edgings, understanding patterns and more.
Intermediate Knitting (5 classes for £40) - next round of classes to start in June 2012 (after half term).
Learn the basics and 'next steps' of knitting over 5 weeks through project based classes, including casting on methods, casting off, knit and purl stitches, ribbing, moss stitch, increasing, decreasing, changing colour, simple cables, blocks of colour (intarsia), lace knitting, the theory behind knitting including tensions squares, yarn types, reading a pattern and more.
